Fortune has successfully completed the commissioning of its 600 TPD LNG Cold Energy Liquid Air Separation Unit (ASU) in Tianjin — a key milestone toward full commercial operation.
The project integrates LNG regasification cold energy as the primary refrigeration source for the ASU, replacing conventional electric-driven refrigeration and significantly improving overall energy efficiency.
Key technical highlights include:
• LNG cold energy recovery and transfer integration
• Ethylene glycol circulation system
• Optimized air compression and molecular sieve purification
• High-efficiency cryogenic distillation system
• Coordinated multi-system control for stable operation
To ensure smooth commissioning before LNG supply became available, the team adopted liquid nitrogen as a temporary cold source to simulate real operating conditions — successfully validating system reliability and accelerating the startup process.
